1、 Product Introduction

The BIGTREETECH Kraken V1.0 motherboard is a 32-bit printer motherboard developed by the 3D printing team of Shenzhen Biqu Technology Co., Ltd. for large machines. It is driven by a high-voltage and high current stepper motor, greatly simplifying the connection between the motherboard and the high-voltage drive, and greatly saving installation space in the chassis. The motherboard adopts ID designed silk screen printing, paired with ID designed heat sink for auxiliary heat dissipation, which is both beautiful and practical.

1.1 Product Features

*Using a 32-bit ARMCortex-M7 series STM32H723ZGT6 main control chip with a main frequency of 550MHz;

*The power chip adopts TPS5450-5A and supports DC12/24V power input. The output current of the chip can reach up to 5A, and the peak value can be Up to 6A, perfectly supporting Raspberry Pi power supply;

*The motherboard reserves a BOOT button, and users can update the motherboard boot program through DFU;

*Increase the protection circuit of the thermistor section to prevent the main control chip from burning out due to leakage of the heating bed or heating rod;

*The CNC fan has optional voltages of 24V, 12V, and 5V, eliminating the need for customers to connect external transformer modules, thereby reducing motherboard damage robability;

*On board dual MAX31865, supports dual PT thermocouples, supports two or four wire PT100/PT1000 options, convenient Customer DIY usage;

*MCU firmware can be upgraded through MicroSD cards or updated through DFU through Klipper’s makeflash command MCU firmware;

*The SPI mode of 8-way TMC2160 driver on board, with onboard DIAG function pins, can be easily accessed by simply plugging and unplugging the jump cap Can be used;
